Icy Shoreline CE400352 /30
I've been to this location on several occasions and the ocean has always been calm. On this occasion the wind was blowing and the waves were crashing onto the shoreline throwing the icebergs out of the sea and on to the beach. Every time I composed my image the sea moved my subject or stole it completely! I stood and watched this for a while, whilst searching out a piece of ice that grabbed my interest. I composed this image around an assortment of icebergs in a small section of shoreline and used the longest exposure time as I dared to show the pretty patterns that the drag of the tide made behind the ice as it tried to drag it back to the sea.
