I spent the day on this beach deciding on my composition and hoping no dogs would run across the sand and spoil my foreground! The low evening light has cast a beautiful warm light across the beach and picked out the colour of the green algae on the wooden posts. I love the soft colours and variety of textures in this photograph. I recently went back to this location and the posts were significantly smaller and there were none of these beautiful patterns and textures in the sand or water. This is possibly a unique picture which may never be replicated...I count myself very lucky that everything came together for me on this day.
