TREES COLLECTION
The story behind the Trees
Simply put, I love trees. I get a tremendous sense of peace when I'm around them which I also feel when I look at photographs of them. Trees are incredibly difficult to photograph though and that is generally because they are part of messy wooded areas. Woods and forests are very untidy places and it's very hard to compose a peaceful, thought evoking photograph when there is woodland clutter around! Next time you're in a wood, look around you...really look...and you will see twigs, fallen branches, ivy, bracken, and weeds. This is part of the whole woodland experience when you're out for a gentle, relaxing stroll but a photograph captures that one moment in time and once it's there on your wall, you would be surprised how quickly natures clutter begins to annoy you - which doesn't bode well for a photograph which was supposed to be relaxing. A successful tree photograph makes sense of all that mess letting you just enjoy looking at natures beautiful giants. With that in mind, here are some of my favourite, carefully composed, photographs for your enjoyment.
